ANTIQUE GEORGIAN SILVER GOLD PASTE CRESCENT PENDANT PIN

A lovely quality antique English, 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts)-backed solid sterling crescent-shaped pin; beautifully made, with millegrain edging and set with wonderful foiled, faceted pastes (possibly rock crystal). Also with a later added silver ring for wear as a pendant, or attaching a safety chain.

High quality, distinctive and beautiful - immensely wearable, very collectable too!
CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use, one stone chipped - not readily noticeable.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1800/20. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS: 32 x 27 mm, excl fittings (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
